EDI water treatment equipment shipped to Thailand

2025-07-07

On July 4, XJY completed the delivery of an edi water treatment equipment specially designed for the pharmaceutical industry and officially set off for Bangkok, Thailand. This equipment export targets the urgent need for high-purity pharmaceutical water in Thailand's rapidly developing pharmaceutical industry, marking a major breakthrough for the company in the Southeast Asian pharmaceutical water treatment market.

Products precisely match international standards

The MediPure®-Pharma series exported by XJY this time adopts a fully sanitary 316 stainless steel design, passes zero-dead-angle pipeline verification and online TOC monitoring (≤50ppb), and meets the strict requirements of WHO GMP Annex 1 (2022) for pharmaceutical water.

The system's unique anti-biofilm technology and three-stage thermal disinfection module can ensure that the endotoxin content of the produced water is stable at <0.001 EU/mL, and the output resistivity is stable at 16-18MΩ・cm ultrapure water, which fully meets the strict requirements of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia and the United States Pharmacopoeia for pharmaceutical water.

Helping Thailand's pharmaceutical industry upgrade

In recent years, Thailand has become an important base for pharmaceutical manufacturing and export in Southeast Asia with its perfect medical infrastructure and policy support. Local pharmaceutical companies continue to make efforts in the fields of biopharmaceuticals and generic drugs, and the demand for high-quality pharmaceutical water has exploded.

Traditional water treatment processes are difficult to stably produce water that meets the standards of international pharmacopoeias, while EDI technology has become the core choice for pharmaceutical companies to improve production efficiency and reduce pollution risks with its characteristics of "zero chemical regeneration and efficient continuous water production".

In this cooperation, XJY has reached a deep strategic collaboration with Thai pharmaceutical companies with its 15+ years of technical accumulation in the field of pharmaceutical water treatment. During the cooperation negotiations between the two parties, the team carried out localized adaptive transformation of the equipment according to the special production needs of Thai pharmaceutical companies, optimized the high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance of the equipment, and adopted the design of all 316 stainless steel to better adapt to the local hot and humid climate environment in Thailand. At the same time, through the team's multiple technical discussions and program demonstrations, it is ensured that the operation of the equipment is highly compatible with the existing production lines of Thai pharmaceutical companies.

The project innovatively adopts the DQ/IQ/OQ integrated delivery model:

✅ Localized installation of 3D-BIM preview

✅ Bilingual electronic handover of verification documents

✅ Remote AR operation and maintenance guidance system

[Technical highlights]

▸ Modular design meets FDA 21 CFR Part 11 data integrity requirements

▸ Breakthrough "zero chemical regeneration" process avoids pharmaceutical contamination risks

▸ Intelligent early warning system tracks microbial indicators in real time (CA≤0.1 CFU/mL)

Full-cycle service guarantee

"Medical water is related to life and health. We not only deliver equipment, but also build a full-process service system for customers." Cliff, head of XJY's international business, emphasized, "We will send a professional technical team to Thailand to provide customers with equipment installation and commissioning, GMP compliance training and long-term water quality monitoring services to ensure that the equipment is seamlessly connected to the customer's production process and help Thai pharmaceutical companies successfully pass international pharmaceutical certification."

Open up the global pharmaceutical water market

The successful shipment of EDI water treatment equipment to Thailand is an important step in XJY's internationalization strategy in the field of pharmaceutical water treatment.

In the future, the company will continue to focus on the pain points of the pharmaceutical industry, develop water treatment solutions that are more suitable for subdivided scenarios such as biopharmaceuticals and sterile preparations, accelerate the layout of international pharmaceutical markets such as Southeast Asia, Europe, North America, Africa, and the Middle East, and use technological innovation to build a "water quality defense line" for the high-quality development of the global pharmaceutical industry.
